As more and more attorneys, law firms, corporations and vendors join the Posse List and exisiting Posse List members move into the nuts and bolts of the tech side of e-discovery, we’ve set-up The Ediscovery Reading Room  to focus on  “the basics” –  where to start to learn about e-discovery.

This site will provide primers on the whole e-discovery process and attendant considerations.   Just cruise down the “Category” list in the left-hand column to get an idea of what we’ll cover.

And to learn more just click on the category ”E-Discovery Blog Roll” for links to blogs and websites that offer good, basic information on e-discovery, ESI and information management.  There are hundreds of websites and blogs out there covering all facets of this industry.  Some are quite detailed and require advanced knowldge, some more basic.   We have focused on those that we have found to be more “generalist” and helpful to the novice and which provide helpful links and resources, and to which you can keep returning to stay current.   And we have provided a short description on each so you can see who is behind it, what the site offers, etc.
