This week’s spotlight: Vivian Tero of IDC looks at RSA Conference 2012 through a GRC lens
One of our favorite blogs … one we do not read enough … is by Vivian Tero of IDC. She is the Program Director for IDC’s Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Infrastructure service. Her primary focus is research, analysis, and strategic advisory on information and system infrastructure technologies that facilitate legal discovery, data privacy, and IT GRC (governance, risk management and compliance).
She recently attended the RSA Conference in San Francisco. And while the majority of the discussions and sessions at RSA centered on cybersecurity and state-sponsored attacks, hacktivism and advanced socially engineered attacks, her review is through the GRC lens. It makes an excellent read (click here).
