11 October 2011 — The blog Geekly Advice has been discussing the debate surrounding certification and the overall education for profit system. Additionally, they asked the question, “Is ediscovery certification worth it?” acknowledging that any education, certification or otherwise, comes down to a balance sheet exercise.  While over the long haul a bachelors, masters, or juris doctorate degree will help you succeed, but will an industry specific certification do the same?
